The Severe Threat Has Been Upgraded

The Storm Prediction Center has now upgraded Thursday’s severe weather threat to a level 2 out of 5 with scattered heavy thunderstorms expected during the afternoon. The main threat continues to be strong, gusty, straight-line winds. Although we can never say never, the tornado and hail threats are very low, thankfully.
