Fourth of July Forecast

An EXTREME HEAT WARNING is in effect for the 4th of July!

Unfortunately, there’s not going to be much relief for the 4th of July. The humidity will come down some compared to Thursday and Friday, but overall, still very uncomfortable out there. This will likely be our third day in a row with actual air temperatures over 100 degrees. If that happens it will be only the third time in recorded history that has happened. The forecast is pretty simple honestly. It’s hot, it’s humid and a late day thunderstorm is possible in spots. Some of these storms could be on the stronger side with gusty, potentially damaging winds. Timeframe 5-11pm
