Temperatures are going to soar down at the Jersey Shore and Delaware beaches this afternoon. Wind direction is always key this time of year and today the predominant wind flow will be out of the west (land breeze). That means not much relief in the form a sea breeze. Even on the beaches the heat index will climb up over 100 degrees. A sea breeze will eventually kick in but its later in the day.
Overall, unless you’re down in Cape May, it’s just going to be a difficult day to spend an extended period of time outside. Stay hydrated!
