The image above is a look at the light westerly wind speeds today. The westerly wind lowers the humidity.
Another great day around the Delaware and Lehigh Valley’s!
It’s another very warm day up and down the I-95 corridor with temperatures once again topping out in the upper 80s! But the humidity will drop significantly this afternoon so it shouldn’t feel as suffocating as it did yesterday. Especially on the coastal plain (New Jersey and Delaware) where dewpoints stayed in the mid 70s.
We’ve had a few thunderstorms and downpours pop up over the last couple of days. Nothing organized, but some of the storms were strong with downpours and winds over 50 mph. We won’t have to worry about that this afternoon. This will be a nice quiet day. A good day for outdoor activities!
