Isolated Severe Weather Friday

Today should be a quieter day around the Delaware and Lehigh Valley’s. There’s still a chance of a thunderstorm out there, and it could even be on the stronger side, but the coverage is spotty. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the region in a level 1 out of 5. The main threat is strong wind gusts. Flash flooding is still a concern as well in urban areas, areas of poor drainage and locations that picked up 3-5″ of rain yesterday. But the key word in all of this is “spotty”. We’re not expecting a repeat of yesterday.

Timing 3-10pm from west to east across the coverage area.

This is what the radar may look like later this afternoon.
