Weather Summary
Other than a couple of rounds of heat here and there, the weather’s been pretty nice over the past couple of months. But next week we turn up the thermostat in a big way! The NBM (National Blend of Models) has all week in the 90s! Some of the days could potentially be very humid too! July is historically the hottest month of the year and sure enough, right on cue, here it comes!
Below is a look at the NBM (National Blend of Models) which is a forecast produced by the National Weather Service that combines guidance from many different weather models into a single forecast. The goal of this product is to take advantage of each model’s strengths and reduce individual model errors. This blend includes the GFS, ECMWF, CMC, UKMET, NAM, HRRR, RAP and various ensemble systems including the GEFS, ECMWF ensemble and Canadian ensemble.
