Weather Summary
The latest computer guidance develops a very broad, weak area of low pressure around the Virginia Capes and slides it east out to sea. The rain will be heaviest around the developing low. Therefore, central and southern Delaware, Maryland, eastern Virginia and southern New Jersey could be looking at all-day on/off light rain or showers.
Thankfully, since we don’t really need to see any more rain, this is a fast-moving system, and rainfall totals should be light. The farther north you are the drier you’re likely to be. The Lehigh Valley may escape without seeing a single drop.
A powerful cold front approaching from the west will push everything off the coast and clear us out. This front will also likely bring the first frost of the season to many areas north of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
