Friday’s Forecast – Quiet, Wet Weather Returns Saturday

Get out and enjoy the beautiful weather out there this afternoon, because tomorrow is a wash out. Especially if you’re heading down to the Jersey Shore or Delaware Beaches.

In the wake of yesterday’s violent weather where more than ten tornado warnings were issued by the National Weather Service, conditions will settle down today. The cold front and attendant area of low pressure, that became the trigger for all of this, is much farther to our south today across southern Delmarva. That will give the area a chance to recover and start the cleanup process.

This same boundary though will lift north again to open up the weekend bringing more rain to the area.

Today’s Forecast

Partly to mostly sunny, cooler and much more comfortable with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s. Light NE winds 5-10 mph.

High temperatures will drop down into the mid to upper 70s on Saturday.
