Weather Summary
There is relief on the way from the heat and oppressive humidity, but we still have a few days to go before we get there. The heat really hasn’t been all that bad. I think most people that live in this area will agree that low 90s is manageable. Especially when it’s mainly the airport that’s climbing that high, while everyone else stays in the upper 80s. The humidity, however, has just been unbearable at times. There have been several mornings now over the past week where dewpoints in southern New Jersey have actually started out near 80 degrees, if not higher! It’s honestly been suffocating at times.
Thankfully, there’s a more refreshing airmass set to arrive sometime by the end of the week. As of now, most of the high-resolution forecast data starts lowering the dewpoints Thursday night. Next weekend looks incredible!
As for the heat, we have three more days to go (Sunday through Tuesday) and then temperatures should pull back into the 80s.
