Weather Summary
After weeks of unsettled weather, the Philadelphia area is about to enjoy a stretch of beautiful summer conditions! High pressure will settle in across the Northeast, bringing several days of sunshine, lower humidity and comfortable temperatures. Afternoons highs will generally climb into the low to mid 80s, while overnight lows will drop down into the upper 50s, low 60s. This will finally give you a chance to give the air conditioner a break and open up the windows for a little bit.
From outdoor dining and evening walks to backyard barbecues and trips to local parks, the next four to five days will offer some of the most pleasant weather we’ve seen in quite some time. The air will feel noticeably less sticky, skies should remain mostly sunny, and rain chances look very limited.
Whether you’re heading into Center City, spending time in the suburbs, or planning vacation time at the Jersey Shore, Mother Nature appears ready to cooperate. Enjoy it while it lasts. This is about as close to perfection as it gets during the month of July!
