The NBM (National Blend of Models) still shows a very impressive two day stretch of intense heat up and down the I-95 corridor. Two consecutive days of heat indices likely well over 100 degrees. But the length of the heat wave is starting to shrink a bit now which is nice to see. Instead of 5 or 6 days of 90s, we’re now beginning to only see 4.
Thursday and Friday still appear to be very intense with heat indices between 100 and 104. But after that, the heat backs off a little bit now. We’ll see if that trend continues.
