Jersey Shore
A stretch of beautiful early-summer weather is expected at the Jersey shore this week. Lots of sunshine and comfortable temperatures early on. Even as inland areas begin to heat up, ocean breezes keep high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s on the sand. Beachgoers can expect good visibility, low surf, and relatively calm conditions for most outdoor activities. Boating conditions look favorable over the next several days with light winds and seas of 2 feet or less.
As the week progresses, a building ridge over eastern Canada will allow temperatures to climb a little bit. But this is mainly going to be for inland areas. The immediate coast should remain cooler. The humidity increases later in the week.
The risk of thunderstorms appears low through much of the week so there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the beaches, the boardwalks and waterways.
