Rob Guariano is CEO and meteorologist for The Weather Pros & The Planet Earth Challenge. Rob has been a professional meteorologist for close to 35 years with an extensive TV and meteorology background. Rob is the former chief meteorologist for Fox 29 in Philadelphia. At Fox, he won an Emmy Award, National Meteorologist of the Year, and numerous AP awards while working in the Delaware Valley for close to 12 years.
He started The Weather Pros back in 2015 with 100’s Snowplow & Landscaping companies using his consulting services in PA NJ DE and NY. He is also a weather consultant for many DPW’s and highway departments as well as Emergency Management Operation Centers in the region.
Rob will tell you his favorite part of meteorology is teaching weather to kids. Rob started The Planet Earth Challenge back in 2021 and has visited over 125 schools in the area. He brings along his one-of-a-kind Weather Bus, and game shows style assembly to schools, camps, libraries and festivals.
Rob grew up in South Jersey and Delaware and is a graduate of The University of Delaware. His two children, Mia and Robby, currently both work for The Weather Pros.
