60 second weather update. Midweek rain and another cold shot
April 27, 2026A much better day is on tap for the Delaware Valley with bright sunshine and milder temperatures. Most areas should climb back up into the upper 60s, low 70s again except for the Jersey shore (upper 50s, low 60s). A few high thin clouds will increase late in the day, especially areas west of the city. As for the shore, an easterly wind will continue to stir the ocean up so expect rough seas again. A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 6pm this evening.
The next system moves in Wednesday afternoon. This will bring showers to the area and maybe a period of light rain. Otherwise, it turns much cooler again by the end of the week and into this upcoming weekend. As a matter of fact, it’s not out of the question that some areas could wake up to patchy frost again Sunday morning.
